<p>Beef and most other meat varieties, before they are processed, are no  carb foods. You can bake or grill meat for no carb dieting.  Nevertheless, meat is enriched with carbs after being processed. Thus,  depending upon the meat processing method, the amount of carbohydrate  content may vary.</p>
<p>Carbohydrates are crucial for the body. Hence, complete elimination  of carbohydrate from the daily diet menu is nearly impossible. One can  practise a low carb diet for a particular period, but only under medical  supervision. If low or no carb diet is followed for a prolonged period,  there are chances of developing unusual symptoms and other health  complications.</p>

<p>There is no single solution. For years experts have recommended calorie controlled diets with or without exercise. History has shown that dieting alone is not a solution because few maintain weight loss and even fewer achieve it in the first place. </p>

Speaking to fashion news website WWD about any mottos she had, Moss was quoted as saying: “There are loads. There’s, ‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.’</p>
<p>Though she did qualify this by adding, “You try to remember, but it never works” she has been lambasted for quoting a saying frequently used on pro-anorexia websites. The sites contain weight loss tips and encourage users to embrace their eating disorder, rather than fight against it.</p>
<p>Anorexia charity Beat described the interview as “dangerous” and “very unhelpful.” They warned that ‘ana’ sites would seize on her comments, believed to originally be one of the weight loss tips that members of the weight loss program Weight Watchers used to share with each other to encourage <a href="http://www.theonlineclinic.co.uk/weight-loss-pills.asp">fast weight loss</a>.</p>
<p>The model Katie Green, who with MP Lembit Opik set up the Say No To Size Zero campaign, said, “&#8221;I think Kate Moss should really have thought before she spoke like most of us do before giving interviews&#8230; Millions of girls aspire to be like Kate Moss. These comments are shocking and irresponsible.”</p>
<p>Moss’ comments came as a study in Exeter showed that most teenage girls feel they need to follow some sort of weight loss plan, though few were actually overweight. 40% of 10 – 11 year olds said they felt overweight.</p>
<p>Many were sharing weight loss tips that they hoped would lead to rapid weight loss and therefore putting their health at risk.</p>
<p>The study showed that girls were likely to devise a weight loss plan that meant the regularly missed two meals.   26%  of 14-15 year olds usually skipped breakfast, while 22% missed lunch. 10%  of the girls said they regularly missed dinner.</p>
<p>Critics have said that as a role model for young girls, Moss should have known better than to promote the idea that thinner is better.</p>
<p>TV presenter Denise Van Outen, who recently announced she was pregnant, said Moss was talking out of her ‘size zero backside’. Speaking to the Sun, she commented, “Having been in the industry for so long, she knows the impact her comment will have on vulnerable young women.”</p>
<p>She then explained that she only believed in healthy dieting, vowing to lose the baby weight by following a sensible weight loss plan of healthy eating and exercise, rather than chasing rapid weight loss through extreme diets.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In January 2007, I joined Weight Watchers.  I had tried all the &#8220;fad&#8221; diets, but I was unsuccessful with every one of them.  I had a problem with eating only <a title="cabbage soup diet" href="http://healthfitnesshowto.com/cabbage-soup-diet/">cabbage soup</a>, or not eating carbs.</p>
<p>On <a title="low carb diet" href="http://healthfitnesshowto.com/low-carb-diet/">low carb diets</a>, all I wanted to eat was carbs.  I dreamt about eating a big fat loaded baked potato topped with gravy and french fries.  Mmmmm!  Needless to say, it didn&#8217;t last.  Nor did the cardiac-lose 25 pounds in 3 days-diet, the fasting every other day diet or the lettuce and water diet.</p>
<p>In order to lose weight, you must change the way you eat.  You need to change it for good, not just long enough to complete the book on the current diet.</p>
<p>It took me 10 months to lose 43 pounds.  I felt fantastic and energized.  I loved it that all of my clothes were too big and that my boobs were small(er).  This has to be one of the easiest things I&#8217;ve have ever done in my 32 years on earth.</p>
<p>The one thing that I think made this successful for me was writing down everything that passed my lips in a journal.  As the day went on, if I ate it, I wrote it.  I calculated the points (calories) as I ate them.  As long as I kept doing this, I was successful.  I firmly believe that the key to my success was that I didn&#8217;t have to give up anything.  I just had to hold myself accountable when I went over my daily allowance of points (and believe me, that is difficult) or count the points for the fatty, calorie filled, cream filled, sugar dipped yummies that I indulged in on occasion.</p>
<p>I was 12 pounds away from my goal weight of 140 pounds when I went to the Dr. to find out what was wrong with my right shoulder.  I was having pain when I inhaled deeply and suspected I had some inflammation in my right lung, seeing how I&#8217;m a nurse, I tend to diagnose myself quite frequently.  My diagnosis would come as a complete surprise.</p>
<p>The Dr. was ready to send me for a chest xray, but first wanted to confirm that there was no chance of pregnancy.  I was pretty sure that I was not pregnant but told the Dr. to do a pregnancy test just incase. And guess what&#8230;.?  Yep, I was pregnant.</p>
<p>I delivered my baby boy on August 22, 2008, after gaining 60 pounds.  My weight loss journey has not been as easy this time around.  I&#8217;m only down 17 pounds, then 13 pounds, now 12 pounds.  But today is the beginning of my new journey.  From this day forward, I am committing myself to stay on the weight loss wagon, changing the way I eat.</p>
<p>Since no more children are in the making, planning, etc, I think this would be a good time to start.  Wish me luck!</p>
