Without water, you cannot utilize the nutrients that come from carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Modern lifestyle, lack of exercise and stress has dulled out thirst mechanism. Instead of drinking water, we drink beer, sodas and juices all which only aggravate the problem and leads to dehydration. Dehydration leads to dullness because the body is unable to process the food you eat. In turn we rush to consume “energy pills” that promise to perk up your life and so on and so forth.</p>

<p>As a parent you will probably agree that your child&#8217;s diet is quite unpredictable. Without proper supervision our kids will probably avoid entire food groups and only consume what they love i.e. carbohydrates and fats. It is a proven fact that weight and nutrition deficiencies, lack of energy, lack of concentration etc. can all be traced to faulty or imbalanced diet. The solution to the problem is pretty simple &#8211; we need to take an active interest in our child&#8217;s diet, healthy <strong>food pyramid for kids</strong> as well as physical activity. The results will not be seen overnight but nevertheless, positive results will appear within a month or two. Once your child loses the extra flab, his (or her) self esteem and sense of empowerment will be heightened.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’m a dietician and run a small consultancy in Jersey City where each new day brings in at least 25 new patients in desperate need of a change in their diet. They came to me because they have been referred to me by their doctor or realized their problems had to do with their diet but were not sure what to do about it. Overwhelmed by the sheer number of such cases, I thought of using this media to pen down a few guidelines on healthy eating that you can follow and avoid serious health complications.</p>
<p>While shopping for a diet or eating related slogan, I came across one that said “eat your fruits and veggies”, based on which I had a custom slogan made and put up in my clinic that says “Eat your fruits and veggies – it could save your life!” and I really do mean it. Our forefathers knew something that we have chosen to forget or ignore – that 90% of all human health problems start from the stomach!</p>
<p>A study conducted by EUPHA and concluded in 2007 proves my slogan beyond all doubt. This study conducted using over 120,000 volunteers found that plant-based lower carbohydrate diets actually reduced death risk when compared to animal-based lower carbohydrate diets. Now I’m not some Vegan freak who is trying to convert you but I do urge you to pay close attention to some pretty damning evidence that the study presented.</p>
<p>This study related to eating habits and its correlation to health, found that volunteers (tracked for over 20 years) who were eating protein and fat from animal source were twice as likely to die of heart or cancer related diseases than those were eating protein and fat came from plant based sources.</p>
<p>This made perfect sense to me. We already knew that animal sources of protein tend to be higher in saturated fats and trans-fats which result in high cholesterol and heart disease.  Also, heavily processed meats from hot dogs to hamburgers to bologna have for many years been linked to cancer. If anything, the study merely confirmed suspicions.</p>
<p>So unless you are want to abuse your body and start making regular rounds to medical clinics and hospitals, you should seriously, beginning today, reduce the quantum of burgers, fries, pizzas i.e. junk foods by at least 50% and plan to reduce it by 90% within the next six months. At home, slowly start replacing meat products especially beef and pork with fresh vegetables. Dramatic alterations will be counterproductive and lead to resistance from other family members so do it in a slow but steady manner and ideally, by first explaining the changes that are going to occur and the reasons for it.</p>
<p>Trust me and use the knowledge on this page to your advantage by making changes to your own diet and that of your family. I guarantee the changes will add many years of healthier living for you and your family. Less trips to the medical clinics would obviously mean good health and lower health related bills and consequently, wiser living. Healthy eating should be the “in thing” for you and your family.</p>

<p>First, probably 90% of Americans do not understand the nature of vaccines, and yet believe in them wholeheartedly.</p>
<p>Secondly, vaccinations have their beginnings in a very superstitious time, &#8220;when live frogs were swallowed for the cure of worms; when cow dung and human excreta were mixed with milk and butter for diphtheria; when the brains of a man who had died a violent death were given in teaspoonful doses for the cure of smallpox.&#8221;</p>
<p>In fact, the &#8220;Father of Vaccinations&#8221;, Edward Jenner, simply started promoting a Gloucestershire dairy maids superstition that said &#8220;if you contract cowpox, then you can&#8217;t get smallpox&#8221;. What&#8217;s even more incredible is that Mr. Jenner was not even a medical doctor. He did not sit for a single medical exam, but merely apprenticed with a surgeon for two years, then hung up a shingle that said &#8220;Edward Jenner, Surgeon and Apothecary&#8221;.</p>
<p><strong>So, Do Vaccinations Really Work? </strong></p>
<p>Over a two hundred year period, the statistics invariably show a distinct pattern: First, vaccinations were made mandatory, and shortly afterwards the death rate shot up. Next, the people rebelled, and finally, vaccinations once again became voluntary, and the death rate dropped. This has happened repeatedly throughout the world over the last two centuries. Drops in the death rate had nothing to do with an increase in vaccinations, and everything to do with better hygiene, and no mandatory vaccinations.</p>
<p><strong>How Your Body Is Built Like a Castle with Levels of Defense – and How Vaccines Let Unwanted Invaders In</strong></p>
<p>A large open field usually surrounds the castle, so that invaders can be seen coming &#8220;from a mile away.&#8221; Next, there is usually a water obstacle-a moat with a drawbridge. Then there is the outer wall of the castle, with guards patrolling the perimeter. If the outer wall is breached, the defenders retreat to the inner sanctum. This makes castles very hard to penetrate and overthrow. However, if the enemy knew of a secret underground passageway into the heart of the castle, the defenders could easily be surprised and overwhelmed before they even knew what hit them.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s why doctors would rather amputate the limb rather than allow the infection to spread into the bloodstream-and rightfully so-they know that if it does get into the bloodstream, it would kill the patient. Yet, they will go and stick a needle filled with filthy, infectious poison directly into the bloodstream. Am I the only one astounded by this logic? Talk about letting the enemy in through the back door!</p>
<p><strong>A Dose of Your Own Medicine </strong></p>
<p>More than 100 different additives, chemicals, preservatives, and antibiotics are added to different vaccines, including known toxins such as formaldehyde, aluminum hydroxide, and mercury (thimerosal).
